Last updated:February 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Spark collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Spark
mobile application (the “App”) and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
Quick summary: Spark is designed to help you explore conversation prompts. We aim to collect as little
personal data as possible. Some data may be stored on your device (like Favorites). If you purchase Premium, your
app store account handles billing; we do not receive your payment card details.
Support messages: If you contact us (e.g., via email), we receive the information you include, such as your email address and message contents.
1.2 Information collected automatically
Device & app usage data (optional): Depending on your device settings and the features enabled in Spark, the App may collect limited diagnostics (e.g., crash reports) to improve stability.
Basic technical information: Such as device type, operating system version, app version, and timestamps associated with errors or performance events.
1.3 Information stored on your device
Favorites and saved content: Spark may store your saved cards, preferences, and local app state on your device (for example, using on-device storage).
1.4 Purchases
Premium subscriptions and purchases are processed by the app store (e.g., Apple’s App Store). We do not receive your
payment card information. We may receive limited purchase-related information (such as subscription status) to unlock
Premium features.
1.5 What we do not collect
We do not ask for your name, address, or phone number to use core Spark features.
We do not collect your contacts.
We do not collect precise GPS location unless a future feature clearly requires it and you opt in (if ever).
2. How We Use Information
Provide and improve the Services: to show prompts, save Favorites, and maintain app functionality.
Customer support: to respond to your questions and troubleshoot issues.
Safety and integrity: to prevent abuse, diagnose crashes, and maintain reliability.
Premium access: to verify purchase status and unlock Premium features.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information in the following limited situations:
Service providers: Companies that help us operate the app (e.g., crash reporting). They may process limited data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
Legal compliance: If required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
Business transfers: If Spark is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Data Storage & Retention
On-device storage: Favorites and preferences may remain on your device until you delete the app or clear the data (if the app provides such an option).
Support communications: We may retain support emails as long as needed to respond and maintain records, then delete or anonymize them when no longer necessary.
Diagnostics: Crash/diagnostic information (if enabled) may be retained for a limited time to help improve app stability.
5. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of
transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Choices & Rights
Access and deletion: You can typically remove locally stored data by deleting the app. If you contact support and request deletion of support emails, we will honor requests where applicable.
Diagnostics: You can control certain diagnostics sharing through your device settings and permissions, depending on platform capabilities.
Subscriptions: Manage or cancel subscriptions through your app store account settings.
If you live in a region with additional rights (such as the EEA/UK or certain U.S. states), you may have rights to request
access, correction, deletion, or portability of certain information we hold. Contact us and we’ll respond as required by law.
7. Children’s Privacy
Spark is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your country). We do not knowingly collect
personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can delete it.
8. International Users
If you use Spark from outside the country where we operate, your information may be processed in other countries where
data protection laws may differ. We take steps to protect information consistent with this policy and applicable law.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, if changes are
material, we may provide additional notice within the App.
