1. Who We Are

TypeMate AI is an app that helps users draft email and message responses with AI-generated suggestions. These Terms apply to the mobile app, keyboard extension, premium features, and any related content or services we make available.

2. Eligibility and Acceptable Use

You may use TypeMate AI only if you can form a binding agreement and your use complies with applicable laws and platform rules. You agree not to use TypeMate AI to:

• Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
• Create, submit, or distribute content that is fraudulent, abusive, defamatory, threatening, or otherwise unlawful.
• Generate spam, phishing, impersonation, or deceptive messages.
• Interfere with, disrupt, probe, or attempt unauthorized access to the app, related systems, or other users’ data.
• Reverse engineer, copy, scrape, resell, or exploit the app except as permitted by law.

3. AI-Generated Content

TypeMate AI generates suggestions based on the text and context you provide. AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, unsuitable, or inappropriate in some situations. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any reply before you send it.

• TypeMate AI does not provide legal, financial, medical, employment, or other professional advice.
• You remain responsible for the content you send, including accuracy, tone, legal compliance, and appropriateness for the recipient.
• You should not rely on AI-generated text without independent review where accuracy matters.

4. User Content

You may submit text, prompts, message content, or other information through the app or keyboard extension. You retain any rights you have in your content. By using TypeMate AI, you grant us a limited license to process your content only as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the service.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit the content you provide and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party rights.

5. Keyboard Extension

The keyboard extension is provided for convenience and is subject to the limitations of iOS and third-party apps. We do not guarantee that the keyboard extension will function in every app, field, context, or device configuration. You are responsible for checking any text before inserting or sending it.

6. Accounts, Purchases, and Subscriptions

Some features of TypeMate AI may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase. Billing is handled by Apple through your App Store account, subject to Apple’s terms and policies.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.
• Refunds, billing disputes, and payment processing are handled by Apple where applicable.
• We may change pricing, plans, or features in the future as allowed by law and platform rules.

7. Free Features, Limits, and Changes

We may offer free features, usage caps, trials, promotional access, or limited plans. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature, tier, or usage limit at any time, including premium features, provided such changes comply with applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property

TypeMate AI, including its design, branding, software, layouts, visual assets, and related materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the app or any of its underlying technology.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use TypeMate AI for your personal or internal business use in accordance with these Terms.

9. Third-Party Services and Platforms

TypeMate AI may depend on third-party services, including AI providers, Apple services, analytics tools, crash reporting services, or other infrastructure providers. We are not responsible for third-party services, third-party apps, or any loss caused by their availability, performance, security, or policies.

10. Privacy

Your use of TypeMate AI is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected, used, and protected. By using TypeMate AI, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TypeMate AI is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We disclaim, to the fullest extent permitted by law, any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, availability, or uninterrupted operation.

We do not guarantee that:

• The app will always be available, secure, or error-free.
• Generated replies will be accurate, suitable, or lawful for your use case.
• Any defects or interruptions will be corrected immediately or at all.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of TypeMate AI.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the app or these Terms will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to us through the app during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US $50.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TypeMate AI and its owner, affiliates, service providers, and licensors from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to your misuse of the app, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to all or part of TypeMate AI at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for us or others, or if continuing to provide the service is no longer commercially or legally feasible.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute-related provisions.

15. Changes to the App or These Terms

We may update the app, features, pricing, and these Terms from time to time. When we update these Terms, we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of TypeMate AI after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
